Emerging Little Bird

Last, but not least, of my X/1999 fanart trio is my favorite character: Kotori Monou ("kotori" means "little bird")
Kotori, unlike Yuzuriha and Arashi, is not a Dragon of Heaven, but an emerging Dreamseer with the ability to understand animals. She is kind and gentle, but fiercely loyal to friends and family. Despite her heart condition and the traumatic events she encountered in childhood, Kotori is forever chirpy and eager to help others....and she needs more love, dang it! From what I've heard, many seem to be under the impression that she is weak, helpless, and air-headed.
