Rose of Recort

Ok, exactly WHERE am I getting all these titles from?!?! I don't even know! *ahem* Anywho, another picture of Sakura-hime from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, this time from the Recort Country arc. The style of Recort is Victorian England, in both architecture and dress...which just made me want to and live there immediately

However, seeing as I have no way to get to Recort, I settled for drawing Sakura-hime in the gorgeous dress she wears during the arc. I had to improvise with the top of her head all the way up to the bonnet and most of her right arm/sleeve, but I think I got it right...I hope. I chose to color the outfit using the anime second season colors rather than the color combination used in the "Tokyo Revelations" OVA, just because I like it better in some ways. I think the shades of dark brown/burgundy, blush pink and light rose look so lovely on Sakura, especially when surrounded by roses I used my lovely volume 14 TRC book for the reference
